Built for Nigerian schools, by people who know them
We started EduPrefect because the schools shaping the next generation deserve software made for how they work, not a foreign system bent to fit.
Five tools and a paper register: there had to be a better way
Proprietors were juggling spreadsheets for fees, exercise books for results and group chats for parents. Money slipped through the cracks. Struggling children went unnoticed until exams. Nobody had one honest picture of the school.
So we built one platform that runs the school and reads the data to flag problems early. We are now working with our first schools to get every detail right.

Local by default
WAEC-style grading, naira, Paystack, NEMIS and NDPA: the realities of a Nigerian school, built in rather than bolted on.
Insight, not just records
Storing data is not enough. Software should help you act, on a struggling child or a slipping account, while it still matters.
Trust is everything
Fees settle to your school's own verified Paystack subaccount. EduPrefect never holds your fees, and card details never touch our systems.

Built to support NDPA
Consent captured on forms, data export, and erasure requests that a school's administrator reviews and fulfils.
Role-based access
Proprietor, principal, bursar, registrar and teacher each see what their role allows.
An audit log
Sensitive admin actions, such as fee setup, student erasure and role changes, are written to an audit log that records who did what and when.
Encryption in transit and dual control
Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Changes to a school's payout account need a second approval.
We describe EduPrefect as built to support NDPA. We do not describe it as NDPA compliant or certified.
