Can teachers take attendance without internet?
In the Teacher app, yes: the register is saved on the phone and syncs when the teacher reconnects. The Parent app, the admin site and online payments need a connection.
How are parents told when a child is absent?
By SMS and push notification, and the absence also appears in the Parent app. Parents can manage their own notification preferences on the web.
Are parents alerted when a child is late?
Lateness appears in the Parent app and as a push notification. It does not send an SMS. Lateness alerts come from the daily register, not the per-subject one.
Can we take attendance per subject instead of once a day?
Yes. You can run a daily register, a register per subject period, or both, and set it per class.
Does it use WhatsApp for alerts?
No. Alerts go by SMS, push notification and in the app.
