EduPrefect and Nersapp compared
Nersapp is a free school management system with optional paid extras. EduPrefect is a paid platform. The honest question is what the extras and your time are worth.
What Nersapp says about itself
- It describes itself as a free school management system, web-based with an Android app, used by students, teachers, parents and managers.
- Its FAQ says it is free to sign up and use, and it states unlimited school members and free cloud hosting.
- It lists a long set of modules across academics, administration, finance (fee payment, e-wallet, payroll) and operations such as inventory, hostel, library and transport, and an online testing module.
- Paid extras it names: bulk SMS, email credit, result or report generation, and online payment gateway charges. Onsite training and management services are quoted separately.

What EduPrefect does
- School management for Nigerian private schools: fees, report cards, attendance, admissions, payroll, and a Parent app and a Teacher app.
- Fees are paid by Paystack in naira and settle to the school's own verified Paystack subaccount. EduPrefect does not hold the fees. A 0.5% platform fee applies to online payments, waived at ₦2,000 or less and capped at ₦2,500 per transaction; Paystack's own charge is separate.
- WAEC-style A1 to F9 grading with class and subject positions, on your school's report-card template.
- The Teacher app records the register and scores with no signal and syncs later. The Parent app, online payments and the admin site need a connection.
- Onboarding, data migration and staff training are included. We aim to have you live within a week.
- EduPrefect does not include online testing today, and school websites are still being finalised.
- Naira prices are being finalised. Ask us for the founding-school rate.
