Five credits including English Language and Mathematics: enter scores to see
This is an estimate from school scores, not a WAEC or NECO result, and admission requirements vary.
Bands used: A1 75+, B2 70+, B3 65+, C4 60+, C5 55+, C6 50+, D7 45+, E8 40+, F9 0+. GPA: A 70+ = 5, B 60+ = 4, C 50+ = 3, D 45+ = 2, E 40+ = 1, F 0+ = 0. Your school or university may use different bands. Nothing you type leaves your device.
How the grades work
WAEC and NECO report results on a nine-point scale from A1 (the best) to F9. A1 to C6 count as credits. Many schools and institutions ask for five credits including English Language and Mathematics, so check the requirement of the one you are applying to.
Inside a school, the term mark usually combines continuous assessment (CA) and an exam. This calculator adds the two scores and shows the grade for the total.
Using it for a whole class
This tool grades one pupil at a time. EduPrefect works out grades and class and subject positions for every pupil from the scores teachers enter, on your own scale, and prints the report cards. See report cards and results.
