Watch attendance

Registers are daily, per subject period, or both, and you set the style per class. The dashboard shows the average attendance rate over the last school days.

Attendance

Close report-card week

Teachers enter CA and exam scores once. EduPrefect applies your weighting, works out A1 to F9 grades and class and subject positions, and prints your report-card template.

Report cards and results

Review teachers' remarks

A teacher can ask for a draft remark from the term's results, then reads it, edits it and approves it. The draft is a starting point, not a grade.

What it looks like

Students to review, flagged when signals agree

Sample data. A student appears when more than one signal points the same way. It is a prompt to look, not a verdict.

Questions

Questions to ask before you decide

Can teachers take the register per subject?

Yes. You can run a daily register, a register per subject period, or both, and set it per class.

Which grading scale does EduPrefect use?

WAEC-style A1 to F9, with continuous assessment and exam weighting and class and subject positions. Report cards print on your school's template.

When can parents see results?

After your staff have locked and published them. Parents cannot see results while they are still being entered.

Do you write the teachers' remarks?

No. EduPrefect can draft a starting point from the term's results. The teacher reads, edits and approves it, and nothing is a grade or an automatic decision.

What does the students-to-review list mean?

It lists students showing two or more early-warning signals this term. Signals can have innocent explanations, so it is a heads-up, not a verdict.
