Questions to ask before you decide
Does EduPrefect hold our school fees?
No. When a parent pays online, the money goes to your school's own verified Paystack account, not to EduPrefect.
What does EduPrefect charge on online payments?
EduPrefect charges a 0.5% platform fee on online payments. It is waived for payments of ₦2,000 or less, capped at ₦2,500 per transaction, and shown before the parent pays. Paystack's own charge is separate.
What do I see when I sign in?
A dashboard with four tiles: students enrolled this session, fee collection for the term to date, average attendance over the last school days, and overdue fees with the amount owed. Each tile opens the detail.
Can I tell who changed a fee or a role?
Sensitive admin actions, such as fee setup, student erasure and role changes, are written to an audit log of who did what and when. Authorised staff can review it.
Can one person move money out on their own?
No. Refunds, reversals and payout-account changes need a second, different member of staff to approve.
